Discomfort In Scrotum, Sensitive Testicles. No Discharge Or Nausea. Have Pain In Groin, Stomach, Leg

For the last 2 months , the left side of my scrotum has been generally uncomfortable. It was around this time that I changed car, so I considered that a change in seating position may be contributory. My left testicle is very sensitive to the touch, I find walking normally is difficult because of the discomfort when the testicle contacts my clothes. I have tried to feel for lumps on the testicle as much as the sensitivity will allow, but can't feel any distinct mass. That being said , the testicle and that area are swollen and the sensitivity seems particularly bad around the top and back. I haven't noticed any other significant symptoms such as a discharge, nausea etc but having researched online my symptoms seem consistent with epididymitis. The pain often radiates into the groin, stomach and left leg. The condition seems to worsen after poor sleep or alcohol consumption the previous day. What should I do, other than make an appointment with my GP?

Apart from Consultation with gp, it's advisable to get scrotal Ultrasound. It will give a clear picture of the pathology.
Take care
