Difficulty Swallowing Saliva With Right Tonsil Swollen With Small Lumps On Pharynx

Hi, I have difficulty swallowing saliva for the past 4 days now, It feels like there is something blocking my right tonsils. I checked my throat and found out that the right tonsil is a bit inflamed and my pharynx has small lumps or hypertrophy too. I don't have a fever and I don't experience pain when swallowing. Please advise. By the way, I Just had my braces installed a week ago and I am working as a teacher. Thank you.

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, you have mentioned that you have difficulty in swallowing saliva, dont worry it can be due to Tonsillitis,
You can take medications for that One Tablet Cefixime 250mg twice daily, One Tablet Cetrizine twice daily, One Capsule vitamin B complex once daily for three days
Do warm saline gargle two - three times a day
For Orthodontic treatment you are taking , you should consult your dentist , and get it checked that for sharp edges ,
If problem continues then consult ENT surgeon.
Hope this will help you.
