Diarrhea, Frequent Urination, Sweats, Fatigue. On Repeated Treatment For Hpylori Bacterial Infection With Metronidazole And Levofloxacin. Help
Hi, I was diagnosed with hpylori bacterial Infection since last year. This is been my fifth treatment. I was given metronidazole 500 mg twice/daily and levofloxacin 500 mg once daily for ten days. Now medications are done but since 3 days ago, but im still having diarrhea and peeing every hour. I really need a second opinion. what to do next. Im worried sick, no appetite, im having sweats and still feeling tired.

Since , you mentioned that you are having H. pylori infection from last year.
Usually H. pylori is not responsible for diarrhea and urination.
Were you taking metronidazole + levofloxacin for diarrhea , please mention?
Since you complaint is diarrhea & frequent urination.
There are many reasons for these two symptoms.
Diabetes,
anxiety ,
tension,
urinary infection,
intestinal infection.
Loss of appetite and fatigue.
Colonoscopy will help you as you didn't mention the age , which is very important in this case.
If you are a male & age is around 55 years then diagnosis is clear, so please mention the age.
Consult a physician and get his opinion( 2nd ).
Ultrasound of abdomen and liver will help.
