Diarrhea, Fever. On Florastor, Pedia Lite. What Is Going On?

Hi my name is Brittany my daughter is 7 months she is a premiee she has diarrhea and she not eating a lot and a fever her dr changed her formula and also put her on florastor kids and pedia lite she was taking that fine but now she won't eat and I think I really should take her to the er because she is a premiee and her diarrhea is worse

Hello,

Your 7 month old daughter may be suffering from Acute Diarrheal disease.
In this scenario the infants are prone for dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
In most cause the causative organism is virus.
Adequately rehydrate her with ORS solutions.
Give frequent feeds.
By case studies the second child are prone for infections than the first ones.
