Diagnosed With Fibro Hazy Densities In The Upper Lung. PTB Suspected. Is It Possible For Anon-smoker To Have PTB?

Good day!

I am a non smoker yet IO have been diagnosed with fibrohazy densities on my right upper lung. The impression is that it may be considered as minimal PTB. Is it possible for a non smoker to have a PTB or should I ask a second opinion. I cannot submit the xray results which is required for my job. I have no history of Tuberculosis. Thank you

Hi user
Thanks foe posting query
Tuberculosis is infectious disease non can have pulmonary tuberculosis
Diadnosis of TB demonstration of bacteria (AFB) in suputum is confirmatory but it is not positive in many cases though they are having TB.
Chest X ray and CTScan thorax are other modalities used iin diagnosis
After complete treatment you XRay sign may resolve but in some case certain changes remain permanently
i guess this information resolve your query. Take care
