Diagnosed With Atypical Chronic Headache. Pain In The Nose Radiating To Head. No Relief On Taking Medication

I have what my neurologist calls an "atypical chronic headache," which includes ache at the top part of the nose/nose mask, and with ache radiating to different parts of the skull (near the rt ear, in the back, on the top). CT and MRI scans were negative, and a lumbar puncture showed nothing except above average proteins. This ACH does not respond to headache/migraine meds.

Hi,
Based on the details possibility of sinusitis related headache to be considered and ruled out since your still symptomatic with medicines and MRI brain and CSF study is negative

Hence you require CT scan Paranasal sinuses .Consult ENT surgeon for ENT examination also.

Hope this will help you
