Diagnosed With Aura Migraines, Comes Suddenly, Pain, Blurred Vision, Speech Problems And Vertigo. Cure?

Hello Dr. Grief, Basically over the past three years my neurologist diagnosed me with Aura Migraines, they come on suddenly w/ and w/out pain but very intense and very scary. Symptoms also include blurred vision , shooting bright trailing lights, bright lights bother me a lot, speech problems and vertigo . Oh also a couple of incidents where I lost my thought processes; meaning watching television, a Pastor and his wife Jesse Duplantis, my husband I watch frequently and I totally did not recognize who they were it felt VERY WEIRD and I began crying, because I could not even talk in complete sentences. (Very Scary) Anyhow I finally obtained health insurance and had a MRI done of my pitutatary gland on my brain and the Neurologist stated it looked normal. In addition to all of this I have severe, sharp, piercing, pinching pain on the lower left side of my neck that is sometimes unbearable and it the pain goes all the way down my spine pain into the lower back. I don t know what to do now I do not have the insurance needed to see a specialist/ or primary dr. I have lost a lot of weight 40lbs. in several months from a 14-8 not trying to it just starting coming off (which is a good thing) but still having tremendous discomfort. I do not like taking medications so only on the onset of migraines I use immatrex but that does not work either. What do I do. My back always feels like it needs to be cracked/ pushed on or something to get relief EXCEPT the top neck which again is piercing, sharp unbearable pain. Thank you, T. Corsaro She thought perhaps it was a pituitary tumor since I also stopped having a menstrual cycle Dec. 2009, I am now 40 years of age. And I had been in two car accidents in my late 20 s where I was rear ended but had no insurance to follow up; now I wonder if years later the effects of those accidents are causing these issues.????

Dear patient, i would suggest u get the MRI of head and C spine complete. If that comes normal, get an eye checkup, for vision and glaucoma, done, if even that comes normal get blood tests done for Vit D3 and Vit B 12. Thse tests are slightly costly, so u may even start taking tablets with cholecalciferol 60,000 units, thiamine 50 mg and methylcobalamine 1500 micrograms. If th diagnosis is correct u ll start feeling bettr in 21 days
