Diagnosed Blood Clot In Calf Area. On Premarin For Complete Hysterectomy. On Shots And Pills For Blood Thinners. Help
I have just been told I have a blood clot in my calf area. I have been on premarin for a complete hysterectomy when I was 34 . I am now 47. Drs took me off it cold turkey. now what?! I am doing 2 shots a day and a pill for blood thinners. but I know I will soon start dealing with no estrgeon issues!! Help Can I use bioidentical estrgeon crms?

Oestrogen in any form is known to cause hyper coagulation state and may predispose to clot formation. If you are obese and have other risk factors for venous thrombosis it's advisable to avoid Oestrogen in any form.
