Diabetic. Taking Insulin And Cetapin. Feeling Giddiness. Prescribed Vertin And Diax. Safe Medication? Cure?

My mom is a diabetic patient. She is taking insulin twice a day and taking medicine (Cetapin 500mg) as well.. She did not have any problem until last Saturday when she started feeling giddness (sometimes high and sometimes low) and still continued. I consulted a doctor today and he has prescribed two medicines, one is Vertin 8mg and another is Diax OD. How is this helpful ? And Is this symptoms curable ? Can my mom start feeling normal again ?
Please advise.

ya those medicines are helpful....u cn hv your mom s blood pressure checked as it might be due to high blood pressure....do u have a glucometer machine at home?u should buy one and check her blood glucose levels before and after breakfast and lunch...often diabetic patients blood glucose levels fall below the normal range while on insulin due to which they face giddiness...in such case u consult your endocrinologist to adjust the insulin dose
