Develops Chest Pain After Bike Riding. Had Non-systemic MI, Stents Inserted. Had Negative Stress Echo And Angiogram
I had a non-systemic MI 18 months ago and had two stents inserted. Have been doing fine until recently. After 35-40 minutes of bike riding I develop chest pain. Had a negative stress echo and just recently a negative angiogram. I am concerned that I am still at risk and want to be able to enjoy riding my bike further distances than 35-40 minutes. Where do I go from here?
Hi, it appears that you are fine by all tests, but angina pectoris is a condition you should know about, the stress test may not be up to that mark to which you are crazy. It includes stress and excitement. Take care of the cholesterol, and blood vessels, to be safe, by all means. You can have races but to a limited extent. Thank you.
