Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

As you might be trying to conceive, please do not worry.

If your LMP was on 14th July, your next period should have occurred around 10th August assuming you have regular 28 day cycle. If you had intercourse around 1st - 3rd August, there is a possibility of a positive pregnancy.

To confirm a positive pregnancy, you can do a home pregnancy test around 15 days after intercourse, that's 16th August or after till date. If there is a positive pregnancy, chances are over 95% that it will show a positive home pregnancy test result.

Hope this helps

Hi,
As you had intercourse during most fertile period there are all chances of having pregnancy if your period is regular.
Wait till your period is due.
If there is no period, go for pregnancy test after 7-8 days passed of your expected date of period.
Take morning. mid stream urine for testing.
Ok and take care.

Hello

Thank you for writing to HCM

The first thing to think of when a women has delayed cycle, has had intercourse especially during the fertile period is to rule out pregnancy.

The simplest test is a home pregnancy test and can be done using the standard kits available in the market
The best results in early pregnancy will be the first morning sample

The symptoms you mentioned can be related to pregnancy and are normal

Wish you all the best
