Delayed Periods Due To Flying High Altitudes, Came Back Light. How Long Does It Take To Adjust ?

I went to Colorado a few weeks ago. Because of high altitudes and stress due to flying high altitudes, my period did not come on as it usually does. Then when it came on, it was light. Returning home, I began spotting lightly for about 14 days. I have never experienced this. I did have to adjust to high altitudes. How long do you think this was last?

Hello ma'am.

The presentation you are experiencing could be related more tk stress than high altitudes.

In my opinion you should try to relax and not stress so much, which can alone influence your menstrual cycle. Once stress levels come down, your menstrual cycle should normalize within 2-3 cycles. If it doesn't, other causes will have to be looked into.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
