Dark Lips And Corners, Dark Circles Under The Eye, Advised Depiwhite Cream. Is It Effective?

Hi doc.my lips are black.the upper lip and the corners of my lower lip ..is there any medicine that I can apply to lighten my lips?i have tried moisturising them but with no results.also I have very darK circles under my eyes.is depiwhite cream effective?it was suggested by a pharmacist and is quite pricey.i want an expert opinion before splurging on it.i am 25 years old,female.

Hello,

Thanks for the query.

Dark lips are inherent and difficult to treat.

There are various modalities but the result is not that great.

However you can give a trial.

Use a mild depigmenting agent like melaglow in night.
In morning you can apply a mild steroid like mometasone cream.
Later in the day use lip balms, containing sunscreen.

Peels are also a good option.

You can go for milder peels like lactic acid, once a month.

Also take an antioxidant capsule daily.

Depiwhite may help you, but dont continue it for long, it has steroids.
