Could Swollen Lymph Node In Neck Be A Sign Of HIV Infection?
I think i am hiv positive didnt get ars symptoms but after a year of risk encounter now i have swollen lymph node in the neck then my toe nail is starting to get infected.. My question is, is it possible to get symptoms only after a year? Cnt test now cos working abroad.. Very scared feel like im a walking dead

no it is not possible to get infection after a year. it may be possible to get symptoms later also. you can test in abroad also there is no problem in it. because untill you do not test for your self you wont received the treatment and other parameters regarding the hiv.thnx

Hi, its quite possible that hiv symptoms may appear aftwr a year. And yes swollen lymphnode can be the sign of hiv.sign and symptoms of hiv are persistent fever, chronic diarrhoea, weight loss, weaknesses,lymphadenopathy infection etc. so yoi shoshould go for confirmatory hiv testing once. you can go with hiv 1 and 2 antibodies and p24 antigen combo test.
