Could Stomach Pains Are Caused By Taking Many Tablets?

Hi its my partner he has really bad stomach pains and he has had these since last night hes a recovering alcoholic and for the past couple of days he has been taking around 16 paracetamol aday could u give me some advise or could u tell me if the stomach pains are caused by to many tablets

Hi and Welcome to HCM,

This stomach pain is due to overdose of medicine only. Infact Paracetamol overuse can damage your kidneys. Don't use it without doctor's prescription. Take Ranitidine 150 mg twice daily. If it doesn't control add Omeprazole 20 mg for 2 days. Please consult your doctor.
