Could Spotting Be Due To Pregnancy And Is Polyp In Ovary Harmful?

hello doctor

my follicular study on 2nd day of my cycle showed a 3mm endo polyp, 1.7mm cyst on left ovary & a small follicle on right ovary. my follicle reptured on 13th day & so i underwent IUI treatment(no medication in entire cycle). now i m 2 days due for my period with -ve pregnancy results & little brown discharge. please advice me if there is any chance of pregnancy & is my polyp harmful

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) I will suggest you to be patient and wait for your expected date of the cycle or till 14 days after egg formation.

If you still miss out your regular period then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test will be of help.

3 ) Even if you start your periods, please do not be anxious or nervous. Please follow your treating doctor's advice.
I will suggest you to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Start on Folic acid, Vitamin B 12 and Omega 3 supplements at least 3 months before you plan to get pregnant.
