Could Heart Palpations, Bloating, Sleeplessness Be Due To Taking Levothyroxine Instead Of Synthoid?

I am taking levothyroxine, I was taking Synthoid, but insurance would not pay unless doctor ordered. I am now having heart palpations at night, severe bloating of the stomach, and am waking up at night, and not able to go back to sleep. Is this because of the levothyroxine ? Really have not felt good sense taking it.

Hi welcome to health care magic forum.
It appears that you have intolarance, to the levothyroxine. Though same may be individual variation, due to the preservatives, color etc.
The problem may be due to the gastric irritation and can cause the above problems.
I usually prescribe ranitidine 300mg once or twice a day along with the levothyroxine.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to prevent such break outs.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you.
