Could A Stomach Food Pipe Improve Chances Of Survival?

Hi, My mother is 76 and has stopped eating. Has been in hospital for 2 + weeks all tests are negative. She is completely bedridden and we have a option of having stomach food pipe.What good does that do. Does it just extend life or there is chance of survival

Yes its definitely imrove chance of survival.food enter in stomach anyway will improve survival.its also depends on primary diagnosis for which she admitted and organs functional ability like kidney and liver.
