HI I had a hysterectomy 4 weeks ago . I was put on iron pills that caused constipation, on Saturday night I felt like I was going to vomit . I did have 2 bowel movements just before I started vomiting. My stomach was full of the entire days food. I vomited 3 more times that night. And then I also had diarrhea. Since then , I feel like I want to vomit and

Please get a xray abdomen in standing position to see for paralytic ileus or intestinal obstruction, if both are not there. Then take a proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole along with a prokinetic agent. Also take some antiemetic agent like ondansetron and a laxative like syrup cremaffin plus which is a combination of sodium picosulphate, milk of magnesia, and liquid paraffin. I hope this will relieve your symptoms
