Conceived, History Of 2 Miscarriages Due To Bleeding And Blighted Ovum, On Lonopril, Intermittent Spotting. Advice ?
Hi, I am 32 and have a history of two miscarriages(16 weeks and 8 week respectively). In between the two pregnancies, I has abdominal TB and was on ATT for one year. I had intermittent bleeding in both the pregnancies. First one was a medical termination of pregnancy as the amniotic fluid came out abruptly due to infection undetected. Second one was due to blighted Ovum(yolk sac was not getting formed even after 8 weeks).
Now I have conceived again and have been put on Lonopil 60mg injection daily and HUCOG 2000mg injection every fourth day(besides the susten and duphaston tablets/capsules). This pregnancy also is showing inetrmittent spotting.
I would like to know the explaination for the medication I am undergoing and any precautions to be taken/side effects expected. Thanks
welcome to HCM! with 2 abortions, should have gone for investigations before conceiving. now since u have conceived, will the best to continue pregnancy. get urine,blood-sugar, rest of the investigations done. gynaec check-up done. sonography done. if everything o.k.then continue the t/t. absolute bed rest is a must. all the best!
