Cluster Of Sore Bumps At Bottom Of Tail Bone. Possible Problem?

Hello Dr. Samuel,
I am a 24 year old female andI recently (4 days ago) noticed a cluster of itchy bumps located at the bottom of my tail bone
on the right side, very top of my buttock. It is kind of tender around the area not exactly sore but itchy from time to time. What are some possible thing this could be and what do you suggest i do ?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having ingrown hair follicle infection or fungal infection.
Apply triple acting cream locally.
Take some antihistamine like Cetrizine to prevent itching as due to itching infection is likely.
Keep local part clean, dry and airy.
Avoid perspiration, wear cotton under wears.
Ok and take care.
