The hip, pain deserves a complete clinical review, X rays, probable scans and blood levels of Calium and an enzyme called alkaline phosphatase. This shall give an idea bout whether this pain could be of tumoral origin or not, or other orthopedic, neurologic or rheumatologic disease.

Chronic Pain In Hip Bone, Fever, Excessive Urination, Groin Area Pain. Done Endometriosis. Can I Have A Painless Life?
Hi and thanks for the query, The hip, pain deserves a complete clinical review, X rays, probable scans and blood levels of Calium and an enzyme called alkaline phosphatase. This shall give an idea bout whether this pain could be of tumoral origin or not, or other orthopedic, neurologic or rheumatologic disease. A complete blood count and blood cultures could help in identifying cause of fever. This however must be guided by a careful clinical review. Excessive urination could be due to diabetes mellitus or a urinary tract infection. Groin pain deserves exclusion of a swollen lymph node, or one with an abscess. A clinical review, with a chest x ray and an abdominal scan are important. Consult your internist for a proper clinical review and management. Thanks and kind regards, Bain LE, MD.
