Hi

there is no diet restriction in hypothyrodism however people do take care of diet because of the weight gain. The main diet to avoid weight gain is to use proteins and fruits and avoid fats and carbohydrate. chicken contains proteins but non fried. fish is also very good with harmless fats

Thanks
