Child Having Low Appetite, Vomits On Forcing To Eat, Frequent Stools During The Day. Prescribed Zicnconia And Advised To Avoid Milk. What Can Be Done?
Hi I am archana ,my 2 1/2 year old daughter is not eating properly for a week on forcing she is vomiting whatever given,she is passing stools twice or sometime thrice; she likes to take milk ,but her doctor had stoped milk and prescribed zicnconia syrup .Execpt milk nothing else she is willing to take .kindly advice what is it? i am very worried.

hi welcome to hcm, the symptoms as described by you is indicative of microbial infection of gut.proper antibiotic after stool test -routine and microscopic ,would generally helpfull in these cases .anti emetics Like ondasteron might be usefull in case of vomiting .there might be possibility of worm infestation ,syrup like no worm kid would rid the problem .
