Child Has Runny Nose, Raspy Voice And Waking Up More At Night. Remedy?

My 5 month old daughter has a runny nose, raspy voice and has been waking up much more than usual at night. She is very happy all day and has no congestion during the day only when she cries and at night. When she is lying down and cries she chokes on her mucus I think.......we took her to the doctor yesterday but he said she was fine.

Welcome to HCM.
Your doctor is right,if your child is playful then no specific treatment is required and it will recover itself by her immunity.
If there is blockage of nose, you can use simple saline nasal drops.
chlorpheniramine drops at bed time will be helpful.
'Otherwise start good food with breast feeding.
Ask for all this to your treating doctor.
I find this answer helpful
