Child Has Green Stools. Taking Lactogen. Given Azcazin. Help

Hi, my baby is 2 and a half month old. His poo is green in color for past 10 days. He is taking lactogen for past 1 month as my feed was not sufficient. He is pooing only once per day from birth. So its not often. I consulted a pediatrician and he gave azcazin for two weeks .. 2.5ml at night. But my baby is normal. He is not crying.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Green color stool is normal in infants.

As the stool is in normal consistency, nothing to worry.

Exclusive breastfeeding is the best method of feeding till the age of 6 months.

Be careful while feeding top feeds in hygienic preparation.

Continue the zinc supplementation as prescribed.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
