in children can be best treated by life style modifications rather than any thing else.
Ask him to play actively and not sit infront of the computer or television.
Active play will increase his appetite.
Give him plenty of water to drink.
Cut down on his junk food like chips,colas, sweets etc.
Encourage him to take lot of fruits and avoid fruit juices.
Give him diet rich in fresh vegetables and whole wheat etc. Not the processed stuff.
Stomach pain in children can be because of several causes. If it is not associated with blood in stool
or growth failure or weight loss
or burning urination etc. in most of the scenarios it is not a real cause of worry.
