Child Complaining Of Sudden Tailbone Hurting. No Injury. What Could It Be?

My recently turned 12 year old daughter began complaining of her tailbone hurting all of a sudden, and she did not have a fall or any obvious injury. The complaining started after complaining of her back hurting for a few weeks, but I just thought that was due to her menstral cycle. She says her tailbone is hurting her all the time, and even more when she sits or walks a lot. What could it be?

see your orthopedician for the x ray following bowel preparation..
ask her to sit on the soft cushion seats, not to jerk herself like in driving twowheeler..
