default
Posted on Mon, 23 Oct 2017
Question: My tailbone is sore. It has been for a couple weeks. I have not injured it in anyway. It is uncomfortable to sit and and it is bothersome at night while trying to go to sleep. Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Use of proper sitting support is essential

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query carefully and understand your concerns. Possibly it is due to the irritation involving your coccyx. I'd suggest using a donut cushion to sit upon.

Also, apply hot compress over the area.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
