Child Bitten By Dog. Treated With Anti Rabies Vaccine. Tetanus Toxoid Vaccine Once In 5 Years?

Hi my daughter was bitten by our dog 6pm last night at her left finger I immediately rushed her to the hospital since she had 5 shots of anti rabies vaccine 2 years ago doctor only gave her tetanus toxoid. Doctor told me that my daughter is still protected within 5 years is it true? I have read several article regarding my case and the answer is she needed to have another 2 doses. Please help me - worried mommy

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
In my opinion and my practical knowledge give your daughter five more injection of anti rabies.
As 0,3,7,14,30,days.
Whatever they say or claim I don't believe .
Only and one of the best way is FIVE injection ( subcutaneous in deltoid muscle).
Only harm is price of Injection.
There are no side effects of injection over body.

Scientific proof is not there but safe way is anti rabies dosage.
