Chest Pain, Unconsciousness. Done CT Scan, PFT Test Doe. Why Am I Having Suffocation?

I am brindha, 20 years old. I was suffered from upper left chest pain near breast three days back and suddenly fainted and unconsciousness and immediately admitted in the nearby hospital. I have taken echo, cardio, ct scan related to chest and results shows everything is normal. PFT test also taken. But now i am alright. But i have doubt still why this suffocation and sudden unconsciousness has come to me. please clarify sir

Hi and thanks for the query,

Suffocation might deserve a keen clinical review. The frequency, aggravating factors and relieving factors, the duration and periodicity are of utmost importance. It would be interesting to know if you have nay past history of heart or lung disease.

With my patients, I usually suggest first a chest X ray and a cardiac ultrasound in case they have a family history of heart disease, or any clinical signs or symptoms suggestive of this condition. I do not think you need to worry for now. Be calm and consultant preferably an internist for a proper clinical review and management. Thanks and hope this helps as I wish you the best of health.
