Chest Pain, Indigestion, Arm Pain, Dizziness, Rapid Heart Rate. Is It A Gas Issue?
Hey there. Experiencing chest pains that I think may be indigestion. The pain lasts between 5 to 10 minutes and sometimes radiates half way down my left arm. When this occurs I also get a really rapid heart beat that has gone up to at least 200bpm. It has no order to it rapid then loses a beat then rapid again until it settles. On a couple of occasions I have almost fainted as well , not sure if this is from anxiety Often it feels like I need to burp as well. Hi and thanks for the query, It is important from your description, to carefully exclude peptic ulcer disease or gastritis. The chest symptoms you experience and abnormal heart rate are very compatible with gastroesophagal reflux disease. Acid reflux could cause chest pain, and rapid heart rate. It might be very necessary to consult a gastroenterologist for a complete clinical review and a fibroscopy. In case everything comes back ok, Irritable bowel syndrome should be an option. Fruit rich diet, vegetables and much water are potential helpful gateways. Kind regards
