Hi
Thanks for your query.
The causes may be generalised anxiety disorder, GERD, non-optimisation of the treatment and underlying co-morbidities like COPD, Diabetes which in fact need to be properly addressed and evaluated. Go for a spirometry, lead healthy life style with plenty of water per day, pantoprazole 40 mg twice daily before food and clonazepam 0.5 mg at bed time along with other medication that you are continuing.
Thank you
Regards
Dr Arnab Maji
