In my opinion long administration of steroid as given in your history years of cortisone injections may show some side effects which may be short in duration and may or may not reoccur like Localized increase in pain , Non-positional headaches resolving within 24 hours , Facial flushing , Anxiety , Sleeplessness , Fever the night of injection , High blood sugar ann high blood pressure , transient decrease in immunity because of the suppressive effect of the steroid , Severe arthritis of the hips (avascular necrosis) , Cataracts .
