Can You Reverse Sun Damage ?

I am 17 years old male and only just went back from holiday. I stood in the sun for no more than 2 days, but I had no sunscreen protection or hat. I am quite sunburnt and I can guess my scalp is too, but hair at the front of my head(where my quiff is) is visibly less thick at the roots and I can totally remember it wasn t like this before the sun damage. I didn t really see any hair falling out when washing it, and it s quite a short hairstyle too. I m almost certain that it s all due to the severe sun, what do you think? Is it reversible? Here are some photos: http://i.imm.io/7fMJ.jpeg http://i.imm.io/7fMZ.jpeg This is in macro and not as big as it seems. You can see a spot near my hairline, which I ve had it since birth , but now it has become really visible. Also, as I said, hair in front of my head isn t as thick as it was practically days before I exposed myself to the sun. I plan to get a buzz cut because if my hair is this length I doubt it will get better. Please tell me what you think and give me some advice!

Yes I am white skinned. I am not on holiday now and avoid exposing myself to the sun, but please tell me, is it better to have it really short now until it grows back thicker?
