I usually take the pill (oral contraceptive) but after skipping the inactive pills for about 2 months i had breakthrough bleeding which was effectively my period, which began Monday two weeks ago. My partner and I were intimate on following friday evening, but our secondary method of protection slipped off. I then took the emergency pill the next afternoon. My partner and i were again intimate on the sunday night and our secondary contraception failed once more. I then took two active pills from my oral contraceptive pack. My period stopped on the Monday last week. I was able to continue my active pill cycle until two days ago when I ran out and my partner and I have decided to cease all sex until I'm able to get implanon inserted this thursday. However, over the past couple of days I've experienced some vaginal discharge and today I've had slight cramping and a very light episode of brown-coloured bleeding. There have been no other signs - no breast tenderness, weight gain, appetite increase, vomiting etc. Possibly pregnant or just overly worried?
