Can Typhoid Result In High Blood Sugar Level?

I have been diagnosed with typhoid on 31st Aug and I am taking antibiotics under doctor supervision. Yesterday I checked my blood sugar level. 121 -fasting and 221 -PP. Is the high level associated with typhoid. Of course there is no fever for the last two days.

Typhoid and diabetes are two different issues. They have no connection. Typhoid is an infection due to a bacteria known as S.Typhae, but diabetes is a disorder of the pancreas leading to impaired secretion of insulin hormone
