Can The Medicines, Metoprolol Tartrate And Bisoprolol, Cause Hair Loss?

HI, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF METOPROLOL TARTRATE 25 MG COULD CAUSE HAIR LOSS. I STOPPED TAKING IT ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND STARTED TO TAKE BISOPROLOL 5 MG A DAY COULD EITHER OF THESE DRUGS CAUSE HAIR LOSS IN A MATTER OF A FEW MONTHS THAT I STARTE TO TAKE THEM?

Both the drugs can cause hair loss. However, the hair loss is more frequent on use of metoprolol. In bisoprolol, the side effect is known, but is very very rare.

Suggest you can meet your doc to start you on an ACE-I, or ARB.
