Can Taking Proluton During Pregnancy Affect The Fetus?

My doctor has advised me prolutan depot after i had pink discharge in my 13th week of pregnancy! Can it cause feminisation of the male fetus? is natural progesteron injection better and as effective in such condition? This is my first pregnancy and I had PCOD.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion in case of PCOD there will be progesterone deficiency which might lead to spotting during pregnancy.So progesterone is supplemented.Dont worry .Proluton depot is safe to use in pregnancy.
