Can Taking IBSET Be Safe For IBS?

My son is suffering from chronic diarrhoea and finally diognaised as IBS. using medicine like IBSET for the last 6 months and of no use. this is causing frequent trouble to him. He is aged 15 and it is disturbing his daily routein. Can u suggest something pl?

diarrhea part .
* Primary guidelines for diarrhea recovery

- allow him plenty of liquids .
- strict dietary measures in terms of soft , vegan diet ; avoidance of oily ,
spicy , non veg stuffs .
- intake of antibiotics with metronidazole on pack , pro biotics with lacto
bacillus help to recover better .
- avoidance of stress , anxiety .
