Can Stunt Be Inserted For 90% Blockage Of Heart?

My brother had a heart cath today and they found a 90 % blockage - they said because of the location they could not put a stint in so they did angioplasty balloon and cleaned it out. What exactly does than mean? They told him they will recheck him in 6 months and if reblocked they will have to put a stint in. If they can do it in 6 months why can't it be done now ?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here for your brother I could say that certain coronary arteries are there where stenting is not possible so why your husband might have advised like that, hope this information helps you take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
