Hello, I started having constant anxiety and stress about 2-3 months ago when my thyroid became swollen, I found out I have 2 cysts on my thyroid, (I've known about 1 for the past 2 years) and was hyperthyroid at one point, but my hormone levels were normal on my last blood test (complete blood work and physical 2 months ago) everything was normal, I had a biopsy done and ultrasound and they look mostly fluid filled so I was told not to worry.. I have been healthy my whole life I'm turning 20 in 3 days but have always had a tendency to over react when I get sick, so when my thyroid swelled up and I found out about having more cysts I went into complete panic and over stressed myself constantly I started having classic symptoms like depersonalization and tingling on my scalp, feeling ill and the list goes on, all of those symptoms went away either on there own or after a doctor told me that nothing is wrong, but over the past month I've been having weird pains and aches in my joints and muscles, morning stiffness and they pain can either stay in one spot all day or migrate from one area to another..they seem to be worse when I focus on them and when I'm really distracted they almost seem to vanish on they're own, I keep thinking I have developed fibromyalgia but then again I've convinced myself I have cancer/lyme/lupus/ms the list goes on...
Another thing I find strange, I've never had a headache this entire time, the pain is everywhere from the neck down (except the shooting pains in my eye and earache I get occasionally)
So my question is do you think this could all be caused by anxiety and stress magnifying everyday pains we all get?
Or tension from all the stress?
