Hello,

Stopping smoking cold turkey does not have any risk to your health and would be the best way of stopping if you are able.

But as for lopressor, it is a beta-blocker medication and can help to prevent episodes of SVT, or help control them if you do have one. It is no guarantee but it should help.

Also, smoking will not interact with the Lopressor in any significant way.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
