Can Shoulder Blade Pain And Left Pectoral Region Pain Mean Heart Attack?

I went snowboarding on sunday and ever since have had pain in the top of my left pec and the top of my left shoulder blade. Ive been reading online about others that have pain in the same two areas and heart attack seams to be a recurring theme. I hope its just something I hurt snowboarding. Im only 22 years old and im in pretty good shape.

Hi. Welcome to HCM. Going by the description of your pain i. e in left pectoral and left shoulder blade, it seems the pain is more of musculo skeletal origin rather than cardiac pain (heart attack pain) You are just 22 years and u r in to snow boarding. If i am your treating doctor i would advice u bed rest (no snowboarding) for atleast a week with some pain killers, thats all...No need to worry about your heart. Please consult a local doctor and get some pain killers and take some rest. If pain persists then a thorough evaluation is necessary and i am sure even after that your heart will be good...all the best..get well soon
