Can Rash Beside The Eye In A 8yr Old Be Herpes And Is It Contagious?
Hi my name is Victoria, I have an 8year old son who has a bad rash on his right side of his eye and his eye look like he had pink eye . I took him to the doctor they told meit can be herpes . Now is it contagious cuz I have 5year old also and love to sleep together

herpes is caused by a virus and it is contagious .
my recommendation would be as far as possible keep both child distant and use separate utensil for them by this you can avoid other child getting infected.
