hello doc, am 34yr man weighing 55kg and height is 167cm. Iam regularly eating supari from last 5yrs.. am very lean and my appetite is verry poor.. these days i get pain at the right of my stomach.. want to know is it because of having supari? if so, how can i get rid of this habit? pls help..

Supari use with or without tobacco lead to increase acid secretion and acid reflux, which can lead to barrettes esophagus/stomach ulcer formation and abdominal pain.

Chronic supari use can also lead to cancer formation in intestinal tract. It is better to get yourself examined for these conditions. Same time stop supari chewing.
