Can Pain In The Foot Because Of The Diabetic Nerve?
I have had a pain on the top portion of my left foot for a couple of years. It seems to be worse when I have walked several days in a row. However, it can also hurt when not using. It varies from a burn feeling to a sharp pain radiating to my big toe. The toe itself does not hurt. Could this be diabetic nerve pain as I have just slight elevated blood sugar?
Hello, You definitely can have diabetic peripheral neuropathy also. However other reasons like gout or osteoarthritis of big toe can also cause the similar pain..neuropathy treatment requires.. Controlling your blood sugar levels Use of meicines like GABAPANTINE,PREGABLIN,DULOXETINE etc 5-7 injections of VIT B-2 Proper supplementation with VIT D. Consult your doctor for the diagnosis and treatment. Thanks
