Can Onset Of Frequent Urination And Thirstfulness With Short Bouts Of Nausea Indicate Diabetes?

I have been experiencing urinary frequency for a couple months as well as being often thirsty. Recently, I have also had short bouts of nausea which I thought were contributed to neck pain in c2-c3 vertebrae. My physio said I should check my blood sugar levels. Could I have diabetes? I am not overweight and eat regularly.
