Can Nerve Damage Be The Reason For Shoulder Blade And Lower Back Pain With Numbness And Soreness In Arms?

My left rib cage sticks out more than my right and has pains sometimes, sometimes it feels like air is escaping and my left side upper back shoulder blade area hurts mostly all the time but is worse when I do certain things it goes to my neck and I feel like I have a bobble head so it feels better to rest my head and to push my head down and to the right stretching it. I also get tingly numbness in my arms and my legs. My wrist elbows knees and ankles hurt they will feel sore and stiff not all the time it happens at anytime of the day. I get easily tired of walking short distances sometimes. My left lower abdominal area by my hip has started to hurt constantly is worse sometimes it feels like a tightening pain kinda. My lower back hurts sometimes also. My left foot/ankle got messed up in a fourwheeling accident but didn t break but I can t move my toes like I use to be able too and it kinda feels like a nerve is damaged and my foot connection to my ankle feels like it s out of place and in the back of my ankle above my heel looks indented and can make it feel floppy when it s relaxing. I don t know if all these symptoms are connected. What could it be and do I need to seek medial help right away?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The shoulder blade pain and numbness of the arms can be due to nerve root compression or irritation at the level of cervical spine or the cervical rib. The pain in lower back is likely to be due to disc prolapse.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
