Can Intake Of Prednisone, Benadryl Cause Breathlessness?
Hi, two days ago I started getting very large rashes that started on my back, then moved to my front. By morning, the rash has spread to most of trunk. By afternoon, the rash had dissipated quite a bit on my trunk but moved to my legs, thighs, groin area, as well as my neck and face.
I then went to see a Doctor. He prescribed prednisone (50 mg) and to take some Benadryl. It's been 24 hours since I seen the doctor. My rash has dissipated a bit on my body from where it was to smaller red rash circles. I am now having a harder time to breathing. The doctor said I was allergic to something. I've spend the last 48 hours trying to figure it out as I have narrowed it down to 3 possibilities. But all 3 I have consumed before many times and never had any kind of reaction. I am not sure on what I should do.

I really appreciate your concern, taking prednisolone and Benadryl does not cause any respiratory problem on the contrary these are the medicine widely used for cough and breathlessness, finding the cause of allergy is bit difficult task so better to treat it at the time of attack, but this is comes before accidently, so no need to worry about this, have good day.
